  3. 3Optionally list the pages to crop, such as 2-5.
  4. 4Select Crop PDF and download the result.

What happens to your file

The visible area of each page is changed inside this browser tab: content outside it is hidden, not deleted (use Redact to remove it). Your file is never uploaded, and the working copy is cleared when you close the tab.

Frequently asked questions

Does cropping remove the hidden part?

No. Cropping changes what is shown and printed, but the content outside the area stays in the file. To remove content for good, use the Redact tool.

Can I crop only some pages?

Yes. Type the pages, for example 1-3,7, or leave the field empty to crop every page. The same area is used on each page you choose.

What does trimming white margins do?

It looks at each page and cuts it to what is printed there, leaving a small white border. Blank pages keep their size.

Is my PDF uploaded to be cropped?

No. The pages are cropped in your browser, on your device.

Does cropping lower the quality?

No. Nothing is redrawn or compressed: text stays sharp and selectable, and images keep their resolution.

Does Crop PDF work offline?

Yes, after you've cropped one file while online. The engine is saved then, and later jobs run without internet.
