These terms apply when you use UnplugPDF at unplugpdf.com, which is operated by WeThank Technologies FZE (“we”). By using the site or buying Pro, you agree to them.
The service
UnplugPDF is a set of PDF tools that run in your browser. The files you open are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us; the privacy page explains exactly what is and is not collected. The free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on each tool.
Pro
Pro raises the limits of some tools, as described on the Pro page. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. One Pro licence can be active on up to three devices at a time; a device that has not been used for 45 days frees its place.
Each device checks its licence with our licence service from time to time while it is online. Offline, Pro keeps working for at least three weeks after the last check; after that it pauses until the device can check in again.
Pro is for you (or, for an organisation, for the people it buys it for), on your own devices. You may not resell a licence, share it beyond its three devices, or try to unlock Pro without buying it.
Buying Pro
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it processes the payment, charges any taxes, issues your receipt and handles refunds, under its own buyer terms and privacy policy. The price is shown before you pay, in the currency of the checkout.
You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of buying Pro; the refund policy explains how.
Fair use
Do not use UnplugPDF to break the law or anyone's rights. Do not copy the site or its code to run it elsewhere, re-host it, or remove or work around the checks that keep its tools running only on unplugpdf.com.
Your files
Your files stay yours. They never leave your device, so we never see or store them and have no rights in them. You are responsible for having the right to work with the files you use. The tools create new files and leave your originals unchanged; check the results before you rely on them, and keep your own copies.
Ownership
UnplugPDF, its name, design and code belong to WeThank Technologies FZE. The open-source components it uses remain under their own licences, listed on the third-party licences page.
Changes and availability
We work to keep UnplugPDF available and correct, but cannot promise that it always will be, and we may change or remove features. If we change these terms, the date at the top of this page changes.
Liability
UnplugPDF is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses or for lost or damaged files, and our total liability for any claim about Pro is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of the country where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates decide any dispute about them, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection where you live.
