How to use it
Choose a PDF, scroll through its pages, zoom, jump to a page, and search the text. Everything is drawn on your device, so even long documents open without being sent anywhere.
How it works
Your file is processed entirely in your browser, on your device. It is never uploaded to a server, and we never see its contents or keep any part of it.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded when I open it here?
No. The file is read and drawn by your own browser. It is never sent to a server, and no part of it is stored or kept after you close the page.
Can I search Arabic text?
Yes. Search ignores diacritics and common spelling variants of alef, yeh and teh marbuta, so a word typed plainly still finds the same word written with marks. Western and Arabic-Indic digits match each other.
Does it open password-protected PDFs?
Yes, if you know the password. You type it on the page, it is checked on your device, and it is never sent anywhere.
Is there a limit on file size or pages?
There is no fixed limit in the viewer. Pages are drawn only when they come into view, so large files stay responsive; very large files depend on the memory of your device.
Can I use the viewer without an internet connection?
Yes. After your first visit the site is saved on your device, and you can also install it as an app. The first time a tool runs it saves its engine, so it keeps working offline afterwards.
